- This standard applies to positive displacement vacuum pumps and specifies methods for measuring the operating speed, base pressure, highest water vapor pressure, power input and minimum start-up temperature of pumps that exhaust gas at atmospheric pressure, with a base pressure of less than 10 kPa. In this standard, it is necessary to use the definitions of speed of action and base pressure given in GOST 32974.1. This standard is applicable when testing other types of pumps that exhaust gas at atmospheric pressure.
