Scope
This standard specifies the product structure and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of compression ignition engine exhaust pollutant analyzers. This standard applies to compression ignition engine exhaust pollutant analyzers (hereinafter referred to as analyzers) that use ultraviolet and visible differential spectroscopy to detect NO, NO2, SO2, and NH3.
