GB/T 38430-2019 Corrosion of metals and alloys—Test method for isothermal-exposure oxidation testing under high-temperature corrosion conditions for metallic materials (English Version)
This standard specifies the equipment, gas supply, specimens, test process, calculation of mass changes, analysis of mass changes, evaluation of samples after the test, and test reports for isothermal exposure oxidation tests of metallic materials under high-temperature corrosion conditions. This standard applies to continuous (the sample is not cooled during the test and only the mass of the sample is weighed after the test) and discontinuous (during the test at a predetermined but not necessarily Isothermal exposure test (cooling the specimen at regular few time points and weighing the mass of each specimen serially). This standard does not apply to thermal cycle oxidation tests of metal materials under high-temperature corrosion conditions with gas (in order to accelerate high-temperature corrosion, cool the sample frequently and regularly, and weigh the mass of each sample in series).
