Scope
This document evaluates the kinetic data available during handling of electronic equipment. Its purpose is to form an environmental description from all available data and compare it with the data in IEC 60721 (all parts). For each identified data source, the quality of the data has been assessed and checked for consistency. Data quality inspection and classification of various data sources shall be carried out in accordance with the regulations in IECTR62131 1 . This document primarily deals with data extracted from a number of different sources, the quality and validity of which can be attributed to a certain degree of confidence. The document also presents some data that cannot actually be verified for quality and validity, and is given to verify information from other sources. This document also clearly indicates when information in this category is used. This document refers to data from a series of data collection efforts that vary widely in quantity and quality with the range of states covered. Not all tested data were available electronically, and for comparison purposes many raw (non-electronic) data were manually digitized in this assessment.
