Scope: This standard applies to reusable seamless cylinders with a working pressure of no more than 30.0 MPa (305.9 kgf/cm2), with a capacity of no more than 100 liters, made of unalloyed and alloyed steel grades of two versions, subjected to hardening and tempering, or normalization, or normalization and dispensing, intended for storage and use of compressed, liquefied or dissolved gases under pressure in the temperature range from minus 50 °C to 65 °C. By agreement between the manufacturer and the customer, it is possible to manufacture cylinders of version 2 for operating conditions in which the lower limit of the temperature range is below minus 50 °C. Cylinders are not intended for storage and use of gas as motor fuel on wheeled vehicles
