Scope

This document specifies the geometric accuracy, numerical control positioning accuracy and repeat positioning accuracy, inspection methods and corresponding tolerances of the horizontal milling and boring machine with the column moving along the X axis and the table fixed. This document applies to general-purpose, ordinary-precision horizontal milling and boring machines with movable columns and fixed tables (hereinafter referred to as machine tools). This document only deals with the inspection of machine tool accuracy. It does not apply to the operation inspection of machine tools (such as vibration, abnormal noise, crawling of moving components), nor does it apply to the inspection of machine tool characteristics (such as speed, feed), which are usually carried out before the accuracy inspection.
