This document specifies the testing principles, personnel requirements, calibration sample rails, testing equipment, testing procedures, system calibration, result evaluation and testing reports for the eddy current testing method on the rail bottom surface. This document is applicable to automatic eddy current testing of the rail bottom surface of 50kg/m~75kg/m rails. Rail bottom eddy current testing of other specifications of rails can also be implemented with reference.
