- Scope
- This document specifies the terms and definitions, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, and transportation of marine overhead cranes (hereinafter referred to as cranes). This document applies to bridge cranes installed on ships. This document does not apply to cranes working in the following environments: ——flammable and explosive, combustible dust, flammable gases and corrosive gases (except salt spray) environments; ——nuclear radiation, toxic gas environments; ——crane Environments where molten or hot metals are transported.
