Scope

This standard applies to dental micro motors or dental air motors (hereinafter collectively referred to as motors), dental straight handpieces or dental contra-angle handpieces (hereinafter collectively referred to as handpieces). Specifies the dimensions of the coupling. However, the method of locking the motor and hand bead is not specified.
