- This document specifies the metadata method for describing the user needs of science and technology resources. By describing the identification method of user needs of science and technology resources, the semantic standardization description of the subjective science and technology resource needs of users by the science and technology resource platform builders can be achieved, and the matching and docking with objectively existing science and technology resources can be achieved, so as to better provide services for national science and technology innovation. This document is applicable to the description of user needs in the process of science and technology resource platform construction and service, and provides a reference for the research and practice of user needs of other related information resources.
