Scope

This standard specifies the detection conditions, detection methods and detection rules for residual current action protectors. This standard is applicable to the detection of residual current action protectors (RCDs) installed in low-voltage power distribution systems with AC 50 Hz and rated nominal voltage 400 V and below. It is also applicable to the detection of circuit breaker-type integrated RCDs.
