- This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of N-methyldiethanolamine for industrial use. This document applies to industrial N-methyldiethanolamine synthesized from ethylene oxide and monomethylamine. It is mainly used for desulfurization of oil and natural gas and decarbonization of other industrial gases. It can also be used as pharmaceutical intermediates and raw materials for some fine chemical products.
