This document specifies plastic case circuit breakers (hereinafter referred to as "circuit breakers") that comply with GB/T14048.2-2020 "Low-voltage switchgear and control equipment Part 2: Circuit breakers" and have a rated voltage not exceeding 1000V AC or 1500V DC. ") arc flash test test conditions, test requirements and test methods. This document also applies to arcing tests on circuit breakers with rated voltages higher than 1000V AC but not exceeding 1500V. This document describes the test method for detecting the arcing energy of a circuit breaker by building a test circuit when performing a short-circuit breaking test in free air.
