- This standard specifies the basic methods and technical requirements for periodic inspection and evaluation of liquefied natural gas welded insulated gas cylinders for automobiles. This standard is applicable to use under normal ambient temperature (-40 ℃ ~ 60 ℃), the containing medium is liquefied natural gas cryogenic liquid, the design temperature is not lower than -196 ℃, the single nominal volume is not more than 500 L, and the working pressure is 0.2 MPa ~ 3.5 MPa, regular inspection and evaluation of the gas cylinder body, gas cylinder assembly parts, and gas cylinder safety accessories for repeatedly filled high-vacuum sandwich structure automotive liquefied natural gas welded insulated gas cylinders (hereinafter referred to as: automotive welded insulated gas cylinders) . This standard does not apply to the periodic inspection and assessment of external components of gas cylinders and their connecting pipelines (except safety valve discharge pipes).
