- This document specifies the calibration method for particulate matter concentration measuring instruments used for motor vehicle emissions. This document is applicable to the overall calibration of portable particle number concentration measuring instruments based on the CPC method or the DC method principle (that is, including heated sampling tubes, volatile particle removers and particle counters) and the step-by-step calibration of bench-type particle number concentration measuring instruments. Calibration (that is, including heating the sampling tube and volatile particle remover, simultaneously calibrating PCRF and VRE, particle counter calibration flow rate, detection efficiency, etc.).
