Scope

This standard specifies the test method for determining the content of iron and copper in graphite emulsion of kinescope. This standard is applicable to the determination of the iron and copper content in the black bottom graphite emulsion of the color picture tube. This standard lists two copper content determination methods: Neocuproine-Methyl Orange Extraction Spectrophotometry and Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry.
