This standard specifies the operation and test procedures for the determination of absorbed dose by radiochromic film and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) dosimetry system. This standard applies to these two dosimetry systems to determine the absorbed dose of water under photon irradiation to indicate the absorbed dose in the irradiated material. Other film (sheet) dosimeters can be used as reference. Electron beam dose measurement can also be implemented by reference. This standard specifies the applicable conditions of these two dose measurement systems as follows: Radiochromic film a. Absorbed dose: 0.2~1×102kGy; b. Absorbed dose rate: 1×10-2~1×107Gy·s-1; c .Photon energy: 0.1~5MeV; d.Irradiation temperature: -20~+60℃. PMMA dosimeter a. Absorbed dose: 0.2~50kGy; b. Absorbed dose rate: 1×10-2~1×107Gy·s-1; c. Photon energy: 0.1~5MeV; d. Irradiation temperature: -20~ +50°C.
