Scope: This document describes a method for testing the thermal performance of clothing with heat dissipation function using a sweating thermal manikin. This document is applicable to the determination of the thermal performance of clothing with heat dissipation function and its accessories under specified conditions. The individual thermal performance tests of tops or bottoms or accessories and the thermal performance tests of clothing under different ambient temperatures, relative humidity, wind speeds, human body postures and movement speeds are carried out as a reference. This document is also applicable to the quantification and comparison of the thermal performance of a complete set of clothing with heat dissipation function under the same test procedures and test conditions. This document is not applicable to the comparison of the thermal performance of a complete set of clothing under different test conditions.
