Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the plasticity retention rate (PRI) of natural raw rubber with a rapid plastic meter and a rapid aging chamber. Plastic Retention Ratio (PRI) is a measure of the oxidation resistance of natural raw rubber. The higher the retention ratio, the better the aging resistance. This standard is only applicable to the determination of the plasticity retention rate of natural raw rubber.
