- This standard specifies the basic principles of geotechnical instruments used in laboratories to measure physical and mechanical properties of soil, in-situ mechanical in-situ test instruments for foundation soil, and in-situ observation instruments for geotechnical engineering to determine pressure, deformation, temperature, seepage, etc. Parameters and general technical conditions, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage. This standard applies to indoor tests of foundation soil and soil materials (maximum particle size 60mm) for industrial and civil buildings, docks, roadbeds, earth dams, etc. Prototype observation tests for construction, docks and high slopes, or geotechnical routine test instruments, in-situ test instruments and prototype observation instruments produced by manufacturers.
