- Scope
- This standard specifies the test methods and performance specifications for various anti-theft alarm system power supply devices. The specific requirements for various system components are specified separately by other relevant standards, which should be used in conjunction with this standard. The composition of the power supply shall be determined by the available power supply form and the requirements of the alarm system, and it shall consist of one or more of the following power supplies: a. Primary battery. B. Secondary batteries (with or without plug-in chargers for safe low-voltage external supply). c. The power supply unit powered by the AC grid through a safety isolation transformer: (1) without other components; (2) with a rectifier, outputting DC current; (3) with a secondary battery and a charger as a backup power supply; (4) ) with a primary battery as backup power; (5) with an inverter or "switch-mode" power supply. d. A composite power supply consisting of the above a, b and c. High voltage power supplies used by some control centers are not considered in this standard.
