- This standard specifies the requirements for the design, manufacture, inspection and acceptance of blast and induced draft air-cooled heat exchangers (hereinafter referred to as "air coolers"). This standard applies to air coolers whose design pressure is not greater than 35MPa. This standard does not apply to air coolers with pressure components made of aluminum or other non-ferrous metals.
