Scope

This standard specifies the expressing method of metal cutting machine tools (hereinafter referred to as machine tools) and rotary processing automatic lines. This standard applies to all kinds of general and special metal cutting machine tools and automatic lines newly designed, excluding combination machine tools and special processing machine tools.
