Scope

This standard is equivalent to IEC928 (1990) "General Requirements and Safety Requirements for AC Electronic Ballasts for Tubular Fluorescent Lamps". This standard specifies the general requirements and safety requirements for AC electronic ballasts for ordinary tubular fluorescent lamps whose operating frequency exceeds the power supply frequency. See IEC929 (GB/T15144) for its performance requirements. Note: The safety requirements refer to the fact that all electrical devices manufactured in accordance with this standard can ensure that they will not endanger the safety of people, livestock and objects under normal installation, maintenance and use. This standard applies to AC electronic ballasts for tubular fluorescent lamps conforming to IEC81 (GB10682) and other tubular fluorescent lamps operating at high frequency.
