- This standard specifies the test method for measuring the mechanical impact brittleness value of products using impact testing machines. This standard is applicable to determine the mechanical impact brittleness value of products. The fragility value can be used in the cushioning packaging design of the product and the improvement design of the product. It is also applicable to the fragility determination of the packaging unit or sales package in the outer packaging container as a product.
