Scope

This part of GB37489 stipulates the basic requirements for new construction, expansion, and reconstruction of artificial swimming venues, as well as the overall layout and functional zoning, single body, swimming pool water treatment design, HVAC, lighting, and electrical design and hygiene requirements. This section applies to swimming pools (gymnasiums), and other artificial swimming venues can be used as a reference. This section does not apply to swimming areas for infants and young children.
