GB/T 3048.5-1994 Test methods for determining electrical properties of electric cables and wires.Determining insulation resistance.Comparison-galvanometer method (English Version)
This standard specifies the test equipment, sample preparation, test procedure, test results, calculation and precautions for measuring insulation resistance by galvanometer comparison method. This standard is suitable for measuring the insulation resistance of wires and cables, the measuring range is 105~1011Ω, and the measuring voltage is 100~500V. Unless otherwise specified in the wire and cable product standards, the measurement should be carried out indoors or in water where the ambient temperature is 20±5°C and the relative air humidity is not greater than 80%. The test temperature of insulation resistance at working temperature shall be specified in relevant product standards. The temperature error should not be greater than ± 2°C. The temperature error during the arbitration test shall be ±1°C. The general requirements and definitions of electrical performance tests of wires and cables and the requirements for periodic calibration of test equipment are specified in GB/T3048.1.
