This document specifies the use conditions, ratings, design and structure, testing, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for insulating tie rods used in AC gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (GIS) of 550kV and above. This document is applicable to insulating tie rods for AC air-break insulated metal-enclosed switchgear of 550kV and above. It includes two structural forms: tube type and plate type. Its main body adopts vacuum-impregnated tubes/plates composed of fiber-reinforced epoxy resin composite materials. Made with end connectors.
