Scope: This standard specifies the categories of wastes containing PCBs, and the environmental protection requirements for the whole process of waste cleaning, collection, packaging, transportation, temporary storage, storage and harmless treatment and disposal of wastes containing PCBs. This standard is applicable to the pollution control and supervision and management of the whole process of classification, harmless management and harmless treatment and disposal of wastes containing PCBs. Wastes with PCB content less than 50 mg/kg are subject to harmless management as general industrial solid wastes.
