- This document specifies the imaging detection method for defects with changes in cross-sectional area in components using medium and low-frequency magnetostrictive ultrasonic guided wave B-scan detection technology. This document applies to metal seamless pipes and straight seam pipes with an outer diameter greater than 100mm and a wall thickness of 1.4mm~30mm, as well as metal plates with a wall thickness of 1mm~30mm. The working temperature range of metal tubes and metal plates (collectively referred to as components) is -20℃~+200℃.
