Scope

This part of GB/T 34044 specifies an industry-neutral framework for defining, collating, exchanging and using key performance indicators (KPIs). These KPIs are used in manufacturing operations management for batch processes, continuous processes and discrete industries as defined in IEC62264-1. This part: 　——Provides an overview of KPIs; 　——Introduces related concepts of KPIs, including guidelines for constructing KPIs; 　——Standardizes KPI-related terminology; 　——Describes how to use KPIs.
