Scope: This document specifies the measurement method, test device, test instrument and method, data processing and calculation method of coal combustion slagging index. This document is applicable to the determination of combustion slagging index of thermal coal-fired products such as power station boilers and industrial boilers. The applicable coal types are lignite, bituminous coal and anthracite (excluding coal types with a total content of Na2O and K2O in coal ash greater than 3%). This document uses Method A as the arbitration method. Note: This document also gives coal combustion slagging index determination method C. --- F method for coal ash clustering and slagging discriminant index, see Appendix A.
