- This document describes the space plasma environment that produces the worst-case potential difference on a spacecraft surface, and how simulation programs can be used to estimate the worst-case potential difference on a spacecraft surface. This document includes the temperature and density of plasma in geosynchronous orbit (GEO), polar earth orbit (PEO), and medium earth orbit (MEO). It does not include the temperature and density of plasma in low earth orbit (LEO).
