Scope

Displays the various combinations of first characteristic numeral and additional letter (indicating the protection of persons and the protection of equipment against solid foreign objects) included in the IP Code. Specifies and depicts basic details of access and object probes. Is intended as an aid to be read in conjunction with AS 1939. Refers to AS 1939 Supplement 1 for the second characteristic numeral.
