- This standard specifies the general principles, content, methods and technical requirements for environmental impact assessment of uranium mining and metallurgy construction projects, as well as the requirements for the preparation of environmental impact reports (forms). This standard applies to the environmental impact assessment of new construction, reconstruction, expansion and technological transformation projects of uranium mining and metallurgy within the territory of the People's Republic of China. The environmental impact assessment of uranium mine geological exploration can be implemented with reference to this standard. This standard does not apply to the environmental impact assessment of uranium mining and metallurgy decommissioning projects. 2
