The newly fertilized rare crucian carp embryos are exposed to a certain concentration range of the test substance aqueous solution, and the test is carried out in a static test, a semi-static test or a flow test system. The observations are for 96 hours, and egg condensation, body segment loss, and tail are recorded every 24 hours. The test endpoints such as no separation and no heartbeat are observed, and the median lethal concentration (LC50) is determined based on any one of the above four signs of death observed.
