Scope
This standard specifies that the following earth-moving machines (hereinafter referred to as "machines") mainly defined in JIS A 8308 (machines operated by a seated operator and with a machine mass exceeding 700 kg) must be operated at a traveling speed of 16 To protect the operator from being crushed under the condition that the machine rolls on a slope of hard clay ground with an inclination angle of 30 degrees or less at a speed of 30 degrees or less, and falls 360 degrees around the longitudinal axis of the machine. This specification specifies the performance required for the overturn protection structure (hereinafter referred to as ROPS) installed in machinery and its test method.
