- This document provides information on the selection, use and general principles of solar radiation exposure methods described in detail in GB/T 3681. These solar radiation exposure methods are applicable to a variety of plastic raw materials, articles and components. This document also describes methods for measuring exposure. This document does not apply to direct natural aging using a black box test device, which can simulate higher end-use temperatures in some applications. Note: ASTMG7 and ASTMD4141 describe the black box exposure test.
