Scope
This product standard applies to any transmitting devices intended to be used with the radiating part of the equipment in close proximity to the human ear (e.g. mobile phones, cordless phones, etc.). The frequency range covered is 300 MHz to 3 GHz. The object of this standard is to demonstrate the compliance of such equipment with the basic restrictions related to human exposure to radio frequency electromagnetic fields.
