- This document specifies the assessment requirements, assessment content and methods for functional assessment of unilateral forearm amputees after fitting a functional forearm prosthesis. This document is applicable to the assessment of the ability of the amputee to apply the prosthesis after the prosthetic assembly mechanism assembles a functional forearm prosthesis for a unilateral forearm amputee. This document is not applicable to the functional evaluation of forearm prostheses in forearm amputees with obvious functional impairment of the unaffected hand or those with cognitive impairment, mental disorder, or aphasia.
