- This standard specifies a headspace/gas chromatography method for the determination of 37 volatile organic compounds in soil and sediments. This standard is applicable to the determination of 37 volatile organic compounds in soil and sediments. Other volatile organic compounds may also be applied to this standard if they pass verification. When the soil and sediment sample amount is 2 g, the method detection limit of 37 volatile organic compounds is 0.005 mg/kg-0.03 mg/kg, and the lower determination limit is 0.02 mg/kg-0.12 mg/kg.
