This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage, quality certificates and contracts (or order orders) for additive manufacturing of laser powder bed fused 316L stainless steel. This standard is applicable to the acceptance of 316L stainless steel dense materials manufactured by laser powder bed fusion. Note: 022Cr17Ni12Mo2 is the same as 316L
