This document establishes the entire process of transcriptome sequencing and quality control of total RNA nucleic acid samples used for high-throughput transcriptome sequencing, including sample collection, processing, transportation, detection, data generation, and quality assessment and analysis. This document is applicable to the sequencing of total RNA samples of eukaryotes and prokaryotes extracted from fresh animal and plant tissues, fresh culturable cells, whole blood, and bacterial/fungal samples.
