This document specifies the classification, application, sampling, and test methods of light curing machines for irradiance test methods. This document is applicable to the irradiance test of light curing machines using quartz tungsten halogen lamps and light-emitting diode (LED) lamps as light sources. This document does not apply to laser or plasma arc equipment and does not apply to curing lights used in dental laboratories for indirect restorations, veneers, dentures and other oral products.
