Scope
Form: This Specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of bars@ wire@ forgings@ and forging stock. Application: Primarily for parts requiring high strength and toughness and good creep resistance up to 900 oF (480 oC). Certain processing procedures and service conditions may cause these products to become subject to stress-corrosion cracking; ARP 982 recommends practices to minimize such conditions.
