This document specifies the testing method for the filtration efficiency of air particles by clean room clothing and fabrics, including: terms and definitions, testing principles, testing conditions, testing operations, result reports, etc. This document is applicable to breathable clean room clothing and fabrics made of textile machines or non-woven fabrics used in clean rooms and related controlled environments in industries such as medicine, semiconductors, precision machinery and instrumentation. This document mainly focuses on the filtration efficiency of clean room clothing and fabrics for particles in the air, especially the filtration performance of particles with a particle size less than 0.5 μm, in order to adapt to the increasing cleanliness requirements of clean rooms.
