This document specifies the testing requirements for the current limiting energy of small circuit breakers (i.e. overcurrent protection circuit breakers for household and similar places, hereinafter referred to as circuit breakers) that comply with the requirements of GB/T10963.1-2020. This document is suitable for studying the impact of circuit breakers on their current limiting energy under different short-circuit current conditions. Residual current circuit breakers (RCBO) with overcurrent operation for household and similar purposes that comply with the requirements of GB/T16917.1-2014 can refer to this document.
