Scope

This standard specifies the test items, test content and test methods for performance testing of tool magazines and automatic exchange devices (hereinafter referred to as tool magazines). This standard applies to disc tool magazines and chain tool magazines with automatic tool exchange devices for machining centers. Tool magazines for other machine tools and other types of tool magazines can also be implemented by reference.
