Scope

This document stipulates the basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage and quality commitments of molding compounds for electrical insulation (referred to as molding compounds). This document applies to molding compounds made from phenolic resin as the base polymer and a mixture of wood powder and mineral powder as filler/reinforcement materials.
