Scope

This document specifies the classification and model, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of activators for melt welding of titanium and titanium alloys. This document applies to, but is not limited to, activators for welding titanium and titanium alloys by methods such as metal arc welding, non-metal arc welding, laser welding, and electron beam welding.
